ABOUT ME

I’m James, I started playing drums when I was 11 and have since gained performance and recording experience, working with bands with thousands to millions of streams, playing sold-out shows across the UK. I have 5 years experience of teaching drums and bands, and as a teaching aide in schools. I am a passionate and patient teacher who can read and write drum notation, help you learn songs, walk you through grades (debut-8) and can also play guitar - if a ‘School of Rock’ approach to drum lessons interests you! I am DBS checked, have a level 3 teaching qualification (distinction - 2021) and am in my third year of a music degree.
